Box Iron Cottage
This idyllic Suffolk cottage retreat is situated on the peninsula where the rivers Orwell and Stour meet. It is set amongst beautiful unspoilt countryside and enjoys a superb view of the River Orwell. It has been recently renovated and tastefully furnished throughout.
This is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The National Trust owns the river banks on the south side which provide home to significant numbers of wading birds. Much of this can be enjoyed from the river view windows of the cottage.
There are opportunities for both summer and winter activities for days out in Suffolk. Locally there are many walks to explore. In summer you can sit in the garden and enjoy the peace of the countryside or in winter snuggle up round one of the three open fires.
